U.S. President Donald Trump signed a presidential memorandum on Thursday that
seeks to prevent federal grant funds from being allocated to political
lobbying, as stated by the White House.
The memorandum instructs
Attorney General Pam Bondi to examine whether federal grant funds "are
being illegally utilized to support lobbying activities and to undertake
suitable enforcement measures," according to a fact sheet released by the
White House.
