The era of one country’s dominance over the world is over: Iranian President


Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that the successful cooperation of independent states like Iran and Russia has brought an end to the era of a unipolar world. He noted that countries are capable of achieving development and growth without relying on unilateral power.

On Wednesday evening in Tehran, President Pezeshkian made these remarks during a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev.

He stated that Iran and Russia are committed to the swift implementation of their bilateral agreements and are determined to strengthen cooperation in the fields of transportation, energy, and electricity generation. He also emphasized the importance of quickly executing the decisions made in expert-level meetings and called on the relevant ministers and technical teams to work diligently toward this goal.

President Pezeshkian expressed hope that diplomatic exchanges would further expand the friendly relations between the two countries. He also requested Minister Tsivilev to convey his greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In response, Minister Tsivilev conveyed Putin’s greetings and highlighted the progress made during his meetings with various Iranian officials.

He said that thanks to the strong determination of the leaders of both countries, constructive cooperation has been established within the framework of the Iran–Russia Joint Economic Commission.

Tsivilev also praised President Pezeshkian’s efforts to implement bilateral agreements in the areas of transportation, energy, and electricity generation. He further said that Russia is ready to swiftly implement these agreements and that no pressure, obstacles, or sanctions will be able to halt the commercial and economic cooperation between the two nations.
